December 2025 Branch Meeting Minutes
- A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on December 1, 2025.
- Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson. President Kimetra Lewis led the Pledge.
- No Resolutions of Sympathy.
- President Lewis gave an update from the Rap-Session on some issues in the new contract.
- She has also been selected for the Rank & File Committee.
- The Proposed 2026 Budget was discussed and voted on. The Budget passed.
- The Proposed By-Law to change the regular meeting from 1st Monday to the first Tuesday. The By-Law was passed.
- Walter Alexander requested to transfer his membership from Branch 1111 to Branch 132.
- The request was passed.
- Brother Hibbs gave an update on the NALC Health Benefit Plan for those that might want to join during Open Season.
- Announcements;
- Health Benefits Open Season November 11- December 8, 2025.
- Penalty Overtime Exclusion November 29 – December 26, 2025.
- NBA spring training will be February 14-15-16, 2026 in Houston.
- USPS is purchasing 106,000 new fleet vehicles by 2028.
- Branch Financial reports will be in the next Metro Letter Carrier.

January 2026 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on January 6, 2026.
• Invocation by Brother Matthew Leffall. President Kimetra Lewis led the Pledge.
• Resolutions of Sympathy Brothers Robert E. Hinson and Adam Bursey.
• Those members that want to attend the NBA Spring Rapp-Session there are still rooms available, but they
should book as soon as possible. Training will be in Houston February 14-16, 2026
• Brother Thomas Vines has been appointed Sergeant-at-Arms for the remainder of this term.
• The City Carrier Posting Dates for the city of Dallas have been released.
• USPS is implementing an online retirement application process beginning in January 2026.
• Stations should be circulating the Choice Vacation List at this time stewards should make sure that CCA’s are included.
Stewards should grieve any attempt from management to have carriers sign a document concerning Restricted Sick leave.
• A proposed By-Law change was read to the membership and will be posted in the next Metro Letter Carrier.
• The By-Law will be voted on at the March branch meeting.
• Financial reports will be in the next Metro Letter Carrier.
