February 2024 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on February 5, 2024.
• Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson. President Lewis led the Pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• No Executive Board Recommendations.
• District II board member Rita Wilder gave an update on the current legislation in congress at this time.
• An extended discussion was conducted concerning the new travel policy being implemented starting with the NBA spring school in the Woodlands.
• There will be an Enough Is Enough rally that will take place at the Dallas Main Post Office on February 22, 2024 at 4pm.
The rally is to call attention to concern of Letter Carriers being robbed while in performance of their duties.
• The Branch financial reports will be posted in the Metro Letter Carrier.

March 2024 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on March 4, 2024
• Invocation by Brother Thomas Vines. Executive Vice President Simmons led the Pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• No Executive Board Recommendations.
• Brother Shelton Mayfield prepared the food for the meeting.
• Brother Mike Bell was presented his Retirement pin with 35 years of service. Brother Bell also spoke to the membership on the importance of maxing out their TSP contributions for retirement.
• The Region 10 Training School was very well attended with members attending various training classes. All of the training classes were educational and informative to any anyone in attendance for the first time.
• The Enough Is Enough rally was well attended and was broadcasted on the local news in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Rallies were also in other cities across the country.
• Sister Rita Wilder gave an update about the NALC Food Drive that will be conducted May 11.
• The branch financial reports will be published in the next Metro Letter Carrier.
