June 2026 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on June 2, 2026.
• Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson. President Lewis led the pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• A guest addressed the membership about the services they can provide to the members through massage
therapy.
• Carl Sands spoke about the financial services that he can offer the membership.
• Branch 132 Scholarship Deadline was May 31, 2026.
• TSALC Scholarship Deadline was also May 31, 2026.
• Sister Wilder gave an update on the NALC Food Drive that was held May 9, 2026. Very few stations received
the food drive cards. President Lewis said that the procedure for next year food drive will be changed to prevent this from happening again in the future.
• Brother Eugene Johnson spoke about the retiree banquet that was held Saturday May 23, 2026.
• Brother Johnson also gave an update on the Retiree’s trip. The trip will be June 16-17-18, 2026.
• The Retiree Brunch will be at the Golden Corral on June 25, 2026, at 1:15 pm.
• NALC Convention will be August 3 – August 7, 2026.
• Branch Financial reports will be posted in the next Metro Letter Carrier.

July 2026 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on July 7, 2026.
• Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson. President Lewis led the pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• Guests addressed the membership about the services they can provide to the members.
• Branch 132 Scholarship winners were Jenesie Borque, Niya Siby Maliyil, Eriya Nicole Goodwin, Martha Barraza and Zaria Combs.
• TSALC Scholarship Deadline was also May 31, 2026. Zaria Combs was also a recipient of one of the TSALC Scholarships.
• Brother Johnson also gave an update on the Retiree’s trip. The trip was well attended and everyone had a great time at Little Rock.
• NALC Convention will be August 3 – August 7, 2026.
• Delegate cards were handed out to the members that will attend the convention.
• Branch Financial reports will be posted in the next Metro Letter Carrier.
