October 2025 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on October 6, 2025.
• Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson. President Lewis led the Pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• No Executive Board Recommendations.
• Brother Matthew Leffall will receive his Gold Card.
• Small Batch training will be conducted by NBA Shawn Boyd and his staff October 19, 2025, at the union hall from 8 am until finish.
• A proposed By-Law change was read and will be placed in the Metro Letter Carrier and discussed at the December meeting.
Announcements:
• Must take leave by November 29, 2025.
• Health Benefits Open Season November 10 – December 7, 2025.
• Penalty Overtime Exclusion November 29 – December 26, 2025.
• 5-minute leeway still exists.
• President Lewis informed the membership that they cannot be required by management to falsify scans.
• The Delegate list for the 2026 National Convention was read to the membership.
• Branch Financial reports will be in the next Metro Letter Carrier.

November 2025 Branch Meeting Minutes
• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on November 3, 2025.
• Invocation by Brother Matthew Leffall. President Kimetra Lewis led the Pledge.
• No Resolutions of Sympathy.
• Executive Board Recommendations. Branch will participate in Toy Drive again this year. (passed)
• Motion that the branch match any donations made by members for the Toy Drive. (passed)
• Brother Matthew Leffall received his Gold Card 50 years of service.
• Small Batch training was well attended, 70 members were present.
• The Spring NBA training will be in Houston February 13-16, 2026, details are not yet available.
• A proposed By-Law change and the proposed 2026 budget will be voted on at the December meeting.
Announcements:
• Must take leave by November 29, 2025.
• Health Benefits Open Season November 10 – December 8, 2025.
• Penalty Overtime Exclusion November 29 – December 26, 2025.
• Management will be conducting street observations beginning in the month of November.
• Route count and inspections for Preston Station was canceled.
• There is a new Texas 1 District manager taking over.
• Branch Financial reports will be in the next Metro Letter Carrier.
