• A quorum of members of Lone Star Branch 132 met on October 7, 2024

• Invocation by Brother Eugene Johnson, President Lewis led the Pledge.

• No Resolutions of Sympathy.

• No Executive Board Recommendations.

• The branch has received a very good arbitration decision concerning work place violence filed at the Grand Prairie post office and will be monitoring the resolution from that case.

• The nominations for the election of officers for Branch 132 were taken from the floor tonight.

• The candidates for the following offices were elected by acclamation:

• President, Kimetra Lewis; Exec. Vice President, Ron Stover; Vice President, Twasky Smith; Recording Secretary, Danny Hilliard; Financial Secretary, Janine Singleton; Treasurer, Clubber Targton; Director of Retirees, Eugene Johnson; Health Benefits Representative, Earl Hibbs; Sergeant-at-Arms, Robert Hinson; and Editor, Rita Wilder.

• There will be an election for the candidates running for the position of Trustee. Those candidates are as follows:

Sid Simmons, Chris Velasquez, Thomas Vines, Helen Toliver, Javier Carrizales, Lyndon Huston, Jeff Miller, Rita Wilder, and Rachel Anderson.

• A motion was made to count President Lewis present on Saturday, October 12 at the NBA school in Fort Worth.

• A proposed By-Law change was read and will be posted in the Metro Letter Carrier then voted on.

• Names of the delegates to the Texas State Association of Letter Carrier convention in July 2025 were read.
