It is time to look at your health plan. The NALC offers a Health Benefit plan through Cigna that I have used for years, which is cheaper than the competitors. Take the time to review the benefits and determine what is right for you and your family. The Open Season starts November 10 through December 8, 2025.

For example, the NALC plan offers a Self and Family plan for $267.42 biweekly, compared to Blue Cross FEP Blue Standard, which is $497.21 biweekly. The NALC plan offers considerable savings. The USPS also offers vision and dental plans that maybe work for you as well.

Something to consider, when I switched to the NALC plan, I was able to get dental, vision, and health insurance for less money biweekly than Blue Cross was charging for health insurance. Do not let the time slip by; take a look as soon as you have time.
