On August 15, 2025, Dallas White Rock City Carrier Jaime Nazario, while delivering mail committed an act of bravery by preventing a Postal customer from being run over by his own vehicle. Carrier Nazario noticed that the man who had fallen to the ground was in distress as his vehicle started to reverse in the direction where he laid. Carrier Nazario acted quickly and prevented a bad situation from escalating to something worse by getting inside of the vehicle and placing the vehicle in park. By this act of bravery, Carrier Nazario saved the life of the man. Carrier Nazario received a gratitude of thanks from the residents residing on Kirkwood.
